Focus Strengths

Focus on Strengths – Grow Faster and Stronger

We don’t want to focus on those things we are not very good at and try to make them stronger unless you want to do that thing.

For example, I am not very good at math. I would beat myself up, spending hours trying to improve my math skills. I would spend so much time using cards, tables, etc.

I would get so frustrated because other people could just do most of the figures in their head and I would still have to use my fingers, even now. I would feel inadequate and put more and more time, but it again did not come easy.

I wished someone would have told me this, years and years ago. Focus on your strengths and make them stronger. I now don’t worry about math; I allow my wife and children to do any math I need doing. I don’t worry about not being able to do math in my head instead I focus on what I’m good at. I’m good at helping other people; giving good advice; listening, empowering and providing value to other people.

I’m Good; I’m Not Bragging

I’m a good father and husband. I’m not bragging it’s true. My wife and children tell me all of the time. I have heard about some of my children’s friends family relationships, and it saddens me.

My children love me, and I love my children. I treat my children very well. I love my wife, and she loves me.

If I continued focusing on trying to improve my math skills, I probably would do it, but I would suffer in other ways.

Focus on your strengths and share those strengths with the world. You’re Amazing, Rise Up and realize it.
